Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $20(BB) Replayer
SB ($1,500)
BB ($1,500)
UTG ($1,500)
Hero ($1,500)
CO ($1,500)
BTN ($1,500)

Dealt to Hero J♦ A♥

UTG calls $20, Hero raises to $80, fold, fold, fold, BB calls $60, UTG calls $60

FLOP ($250) 6♣ 7♥ A♦

BB checks, UTG bets $100, Hero calls $100, BB folds

TURN ($450) 6♣ 7♥ A♦ 3♣

UTG bets $260, Hero calls $260

RIVER ($970) 6♣ 7♥ A♦ 3♣ 7♠

UTG bets $640, Hero calls $640

1st hand so no reads on villain, but probably not a reg :P

How would you play there? I think i like a small raise otf for value but not sure if i should r/f or r/c without any reads. How do you like my line? Would you call river? it's kinda ugly but he could have worse for value (AT) and he could also be bluffing.

results:

Spoiler

UTG shows 7♣ 5♣ (Pre 40%, Flop 27.4%, Turn 38.6%) Hero shows J♦ A♥ (Pre 60%, Flop 72.6%, Turn 61.4%) UTG wins $2,250

now if you look at the result, would that change your play?

-thanks

i like the call down. you can also just raise/go broke on the flop, but without seeing any other hands for his stats I think the call down will give you more value (ie. completely readless).

results show he is extremely loose aggro, so the call down is by far the best line. also note his river sizing for the future. big river bet = value

I think I like a small flop raise to 275 total to define our hand. Mostly going broke unless he donkminR, which will be a set. Calling is ofc fine on this dry bd.

As played this is such a disgusting river.... im no good at hero folding spots like these but I suspect most fish give up bluffing here when it's clear you have top pair and are not folding.
