PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) ZOOM - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (BTN): $10.99
SB: $11.74
BB: $10.10
UTG: $16.46
MP: $11.29
CO: $3.77

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has 2♦ 2♣

fold, MP raises to $0.30, fold, Hero calls $0.30, fold, fold

Flop: ($0.75, 2 players) 2♥ 9♠ A♣
MP bets $0.40, Hero raises to $0.80, MP calls $0.40

Turn: ($2.35, 2 players) 8♥
MP checks, Hero bets $2.00, fold

Hero wins $2.24

I decided to go for minraise as he may wonder what it means and call. But it was a very big bet on the turn, should make it 1.7$ I think.

Also... With weak hands he may call turn I think if I choose passive flop line. He may fire a second and even 3rd barrel with strong ace and I may delay raise to the river. However he could call AK, AQ stuff with my chosen line also. What's best in such situations?

Hi GreenPiece

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I think that I'd rather raise bigger and bet smaller on the turn than raise small and bet big as your line looks like a monster more often than not.

But then again the flop is so dry that I'd just call and raise the turn to begin with.
