I've been evaluating my cbetting and this is a spot where I felt a check was a better idea. The villain called preflop so I'm thinking he's folding anything but a king to a bet...which means I get nothing more out of the the hand.
I thought a check would be better either let him hit something on the turn or to induce a bluff. I'd check raise a bet or bet if he didn't.
I got my check raise and was a bit confused by his calling it. The only hand I could see him doing this with was KJ. If he had a set I think he would reraise, but he might call.
I checked the river, mostly cause I was worried he was slow playing.
What do you think about the check on the flop?
