CO: $46.10 (92.2 bb)
BTN: $52.77 (105.5 bb)
Hero (SB): $51.59 (103.2 bb)
BB: $65.09 (130.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 K
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, BB raises to $4, Hero raises to $8.50, BB calls $4.50

Flop: ($17) 6 A 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $6, BB calls $6

Turn: ($29) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $10, BB folds

Results:

Spoiler

$29 pot ($1.45 rake)
Final Board: 6 A 6 8
Hero mucked 9 K and won $27.55 ($13.05 net)
BB mucked and lost (-$14.50 net)

Same villain as: AA 4bet pot .. 13.9% 3bet in BB

feel like he could be trying to float the flop so opted to double barrel, not alot changes if he has an A he has an A but if he has any premium pair he would try get to show down with these by checking behind and it also just leaves us dead on the river? so just wanted to block the chance of getting floated and maximise FE? - i'm not betting just because theres no other way i can win the pot, i do believe we can get better hands to fold

Cheers

EDIT: Ps sorry for all the 4bet pots :f_biggrin:

hi

i think you are just reading way too much into the stats. I want you to tell me what you think his

1. PF range is for 3-betting and then calling the 4bet
2. F range for calling the F cbet
3. T range which folds to the T barrel

Note that you have no good reads on villain (i think many of your stats aren't that useful for this particular 4b postflop spot) so we should mostly concentrate on our equity as well as the board texture. Do we have a good reason to make a loose turn barrel?

1. Calling the 4bet i would think things like AA, QQ-99, AJs-AQs, KQs-KJs, 76s+ maybe low suited aces A2-A5 - maybe i'm being abit optimistic here but he gives off the impression that he likes to play pots IP and take them away.

2. Given what i think of him i expect him to be calling alot of range with the intention of betting the turn

3. Anything other than an A will have a hard time calling so 99-QQ KQs-KJs, 76s+ (obvs flush combos will not but i think this takes it down to about 50% of range that will call and 50% that should fold)

EDIT possibly though his higher pocket pairs with a  in might be more inclined to call and see if he can get a free showdown? ..

Board texture is dryish so its going to be hard for him to continue with anything other than an A or flush? (which should be about 50% of his range?)
