nl10 - river decision

Think hand is ok generally speaking.

I also don't mind raising flop and barreling pretty much any turn. You protect your equity, also get called by worse a decent amount, and avoid difficult decisions on the later streets.

Turn is a good card in that it pairs the board, but also a bad card in that it's less likely that villain barrels this card light. Again probably another decent spot to raise to like $1.40 and fold to further action.

River is fine.

Forget to ask about another situation. What if we dont hit our magic card on river and villain bets same amount on blank? Im tended to fold because i dont see him barreling 3 here with air.

Exactly, we probably have to fold the river, since it is very difficult to estimate his bluffing frequencies and safer to assume he is not barreling worse.

This is part of the reason why raising turn may be strong. We can potentially get him to fold some overpairs, call with his draws, and 3bet if he has a Jx or boat. It makes the hand easier to play and gives us a ton of info about our opponents range if he plays straightforwardly.

Okay, lets say we raise turn to 1.40-1.45$. Something like this. Villain calls and river is blank. Whats our plan?
