Preflop I decide to just call QQ since UTG is very tight and folds a ton to 3bets + the table itself was really aggro overall, so I expect to get squeezed a lot. Plan was to just call the squeeze in position, go from there, or 4bet/broke if squeezed behind me.

Flop comes Kxx, Villain checks. Usually I see this line either with the Nuts (KK+,AK), weak Kxs or some middlepair like TT/JJ/QQ. Would make no sense to do this with small Ax's. Checkbehind should be the only option here.

From turn on I start leveling. "How often is he bluffing here?" I mean, the 5 brought additional outs for his Ax - but as I put it out of his range it shouldn't matter. I'd also wonder WHY he should bet sth. like JJ here. He could also play this line with weak Kxs.

Rivership therefore seems to be at least 90% for value and, after the arguments I brought, it's just the right play to fold (already the turn?) here, right?

Hi,

I would likely 4-bet pre-flop to try getting all-in against JJ/TT/AK.
As played: I haven´t seen players take that line with air, so he can easily have there kings rather than some air, so I would prefer folding river.
Also I don´t mind b/f flop, since he is usually going to c/f or c/c often with worse hands

best regards,

Thanks for the evaluation! Would be great if you would say something to the turncall. I talked with a friend about the hand, and we both don't see much enough air or worse hands than QQ that he could bet on the turn to get a profitable call, assuming he would always cbet his bluffs on the flop
