MP 25/19/20k hand

CO(villain) 20/16/call open from CO 5%/foldto3bet 61%/call vs 3bet 22%/af 2,8/fold2cb 3b pot 46%/bet ip vs missed cb turn 51%/wtsd 27%/w$sd 54%/wwsf 47%/20k hand

Is it a cbet/fold flop c/f turn spot with JJ?

His range is usually 88-JJ,AJs+,AQo+,KJs+ and this range crushes me on the turn.

I think the range you put him on is a bit optimistic even. Sure he can have all those hands, but KJs may fold preflop and AK may 3bet or back 4bet. So I think his preflop call/call range is more like 88-QQ KQs AJs AQ with some extra hands sometimes. That range already has you in terrible shape on the flop.

I don't see any reason to bet the flop. He may call 99 TT but it's clearly not a value bet. Rather check/call and catch a bluff from AJs/AK than bet yourself. Or just check/fold, as he has AQ a lot. (I would check/call flop as default, but it's close.)

As played you check/fold turn yes. He may have AK or AdJd but that is not enough bluffs to allow you to call.

Hi Paul

Say BB's preflop range looks something like

I am interested in how you do to construct:
- a bet/call flop, bet/call turn range
- a bet/fold flop, bet/fold turn range
- a bet/fold flop, check turn range
...

I dont want the exact hands for each range, just why and how you do it, and a rough idea of what you throw in your flop betting and checking range.
it'll help a lot

thanks
