SB: 4,600 (23 bb)
BB: 12,189 (60.9 bb)
UTG+1: 2,510 (12.6 bb)
UTG+2: 7,384 (36.9 bb)
MP1: 4,855 (24.3 bb)
MP2: 24,994 (125 bb)
Hero (MP3): 7,241 (36.2 bb)
CO: 7,327 (36.6 bb)
BTN: 4,447 (22.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A Q
4 folds, Hero raises to 400, CO raises to 925, 3 folds, Hero ???

CO is a reg 19/17/3b 9,2%/3b BU 8%/396hands

We are 36bb eff pre ante.
Assuming that he 3bet us with ~ 7-10% range, but call us with ~3,5% TT +, AK what should we do with AQo in this pot and what is our:
- 4bet-jam range ( or we should have 4b/c and 4b/f range?)
- 4bet/fold (if on 36bb this is an option. maybe CIB ~1555 ?)
- OOP calling range (AQ looks like good hand pre ante imo, but what else)

Hi,

You can´t fold pre-flop.
If he hadn´t 3-bet you before then call seems reasonable, you can always raise, float or do some other plays postflop.
If you and he has some 3-bet history I think it is fine to 4-bet 2,2k and call shove
I would not 4-bet/fold never AQ that spot unless we´re really deep

best regards,

I agree with Kait.

In this spot AQ is strong enough to get it all in. I would just 4bet/c. I do not like to just call the 3bet and play OOP since our hand is too strong and he can get in with worse like AT and KQ.

This. Pre-ante my default will be to call without history. Post-ante my default is 100% to 4bet/call. AJo would be close.
