Final Board: 4 7 4 5 2

Is this sample size enough to 3bet TT for value here? Table got 4handed maybe 2-3hands ago.

Rest of the hand is ugly.

On flop I bet out 1/2 pot as I believe I might have the best hand and on many instructional videos it usually takes the pot down ;)

Turn puts out some draws, but it still looks OK for my hand so I bet for value/protection

On river I don't like my hand very much anymore and defensive bet 1/4 pot (this amount is tricky, I wanted him to be able to just call with a lower pair) and I am forced to fold to a raise.

Should I give up on the hand at any time? Play it weak? What would the best line be here?

Hi trzewia,

Preflop: I don't like 3-betting this preflop vs unknown. The value is limited and you see high flops way too often to play this comfortably. And you can't shove over a 4-bet.

Postflop: As played you can also simply check/call turn or ck/raise to let him bet his floats.

And I also don't see how you can keep betting that small and inducing raising and then folding. Anything that calls 2 can call a shove.
