so villain is an unknown but i assume some sort of reasonable calling range like 66-JJ and AQ, AJ, KQ, some suited Ax hands and a few SCs or something.

i decided not to cbet this board because i believe that i'm ahead of everything that folds but he can even float me with some Ax hands along with FDs (i don't want to barrel) and PPs between 66 and TT. i decided to check/call the flop because...
- he never has QQ+
- he checks back 66-TT
- he bets his air

i don't believe betting for value from flush draws is a strong enough justification and instead im trying to get to SD and check it down.

i didn't think too much about his sizing but im not really calling a huge bet on the flop, definitely calling when he bets such a small amount, probably calling up to 2/3 pot and folding if he bets bigger.

are my assumptions okay? as played, what would you do facing a bet of different sizings on the river? i was really thinking about check/calling the river because nothing has changed since the flop and i really don't expect him to show up with a strong hand unless he rivered a set which is quite unlikely if he even has 66 for calling pre.

Hi,

flop - we should be Cbetting very often here because we are oop. we do not get to showdown often and against good opponents we are going to face multiple barrels with our hand and the only way to win is to call down and actually hit or win with A high, and that does not happen often. so CB this board. while he can call some hands, we have many cards that we can continue barreling on the turn like the TQKA or :club:.

Thanks
