Hi guys,

Just ordered a new laptop and would like some help from someone on how to get HM2 up and running on that with all my existing data transfered.

I already have my HM2 licence on 2 computers so I understand I need to deactivate one of them but how do I do that? Do I do that through my old laptop or do I have to contact HM directly?

Also how do I get the existing data transfered? Can this be done through memory stick or does it have to be uploaded somewhere?

Please help me with this in the easiest way possible as I am certainly no Bill Gates!!

Thanks in advance

Sunny

Your best luck is to contact the support but I'm sure you can use HM2 in more than one computer.
about using HM2 on 2 Pcs there's even an old thread.

As for transfering data

And for future help you should post in HM forum

When you login in the holdem manager's page, it transfers you to your account where you can see your licenses and some other stuff. There it has a button which says reset all profiles. This is supposed to reset both your Hm keys.

You can transfer the hand history to a stick as it is saved in a folder named HM2archive (or HMarchive for HM1). In my pc, this file is at C:\HM2Archive (this is probably it's default location).

Hi, beerzy
Thanks for that.

I'll take your suggestion, and move this thread to the HM forum.

netsrak may have something to add...

All the best,

We have some FAQs covering this:

- License transfer: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/882/New+Computer+%7B47%7D+License+Transfer+%7B47%7D+Reset+Code

- Transfer settings: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/931/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+your+settings+ONLY

And if you want to transfer your database too use the whole backup functionality.

In addition you should copy all your original handhistory files to the new computer. They are saved under c:\hm2archive and c:\hmarchive.
