Hi, UTG 21/17/3.0/7.2/28/5.6k

On these kinds of board textures, once PFR checks back & never really has super strong hands like sets, QT or two pair, are you happy to just bet close to pot for two streets & expect him to fold his capped range?
Like QQ, AJ that might check back flop are prob the top of his range & I don't think he can call two PSB there.

I suppose I would have to use the same sizings with JJ 99 AK(if I don't 3b) so I'm not so exploitable with my sizings, or do you just not worry about balance since he is capped?

BTN: $27.50 (55 bb)
SB: $65.14 (130.3 bb)
Hero (BB): $53.68 (107.4 bb)
UTG: $54.18 (108.4 bb)
MP: $50 (100 bb)
CO: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q A
UTG raises to $1.50, 4 folds, Hero calls $1

Flop: ($3.25) 9 K J (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks

Turn: ($3.25) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $3, UTG calls $3

River: ($9.25) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $7.50, UTG folds

Results:

Spoiler

$9.25 pot ($0.42 rake)
Final Board: 9 K J 2 8
Hero mucked Q A and won $8.83 ($4.33 net)
UTG mucked and lost (-$4.50 net)

Hi,

You can always check your hand down, since you have some showdown value, but sometimes I don´t mind betting big on the turn and river.
His most likely hand is AJ or smt like T9s and you should have quite a lot of fold equity against Jx and weaker hands.

best regards,
