I think I would do the same and call even if he bets 2/3 board on river. From an unexploitable point of view, K9 is pretty much the nut in our range, so if we fold K9, that means we fold everything on the board, so it would be too profitable for him to barrel with atc.
It is true that there are bad cards for us. But I would still call. x/raise is not a bad option either and it is much easier to play on later. With a call, we are hoping him to barrel with some air. And if he does have a pair, and the board goes ugly, he probably won't bet anymore later. This way, we actually save some money against 10x.

There is a potential for us to make a lot of mistakes against opponents like this. If his frequencies aren't quite like you believe, we can often make too many loose calls against them on later streets.

With that in mind, I like your call preflop and your check/call flop. I think you should be prepared to check/fold a lot of scary turn cards to avoid the ugly river spots. Obviously on this runout we are check/calling down.
