UTG: 216.98 BB
MP: 100 BB
CO: 132.18 BB
BTN: 100 BB
SB: 50 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♠ K♣

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, CO calls 3 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 9 BB, UTG calls 6 BB, CO calls 6 BB

Flop: (27.5 BB, 3 players) 4♣ 4♠ A♣
Hero bets 18 BB, UTG calls 18 BB, fold

Turn: (63.5 BB, 2 players) 6♠
Hero checks, UTG checks

River: (63.5 BB, 2 players) 7♠
Hero checks, UTG bets 33 BB, Hero raises to 66 BB, UTG calls 33 BB

Villain reasonable 20/17/8 3bet, 85% f23b regular over 2.5k hands. I took unconventional line by putting villain on Ax / pocketpair / draw. Was hoping villain to bet turn (I was sure he will bet any draw so I can craise him and his bet vs missed cb on turn was 50%), but that didnt work so I decided to check river too as I was 100% sure he will bet/call any of his Ax and maybe try to valuebet some highest pp's like TT-JJ.

I was wondering if this line is ok and should I raise more at river?

What is Villains oR from UTG? Imo he is tight and folds to much to 3bets so I do not think, that he has hands like T9s/98s/87s in his Range. I think he can call you with this range:

QQ-TT, AJs+, KJs+, QJs, JTs, AQo+, KQo

and against that i would definitely bet the turn. Draws will not always bet, beacause you can check/call a lot like QQ/KK/A5s-A2s but always call and imo they are only 2 FD in his range. He is not foldeing AJs but can check with those hands behind and get a freecard w AsXs hands and I do not think, that he is bluffing with his middPairs on the turn.

I like the check/raise as played, because his bettingrange is probably a little bit bigger than his callingrange. I think a push is fine because he will not fold any Ace, but I do not know if the size matters if he has QQ in this Spot.

Hi Phenomenomzor

Preflop: is this your standard 3-bet with so much money already in the pot and being OOP? Given your size we can definitely expect wider calling ranges.

Postflop: UTG called with CO left to act so can we really expect him to float the flop too much? Unlikely.

So I would continue betting for value and shipping river.
