Hi martizzo,

Welcome to pokerstrategy.com and good luck in your "new" poker carreer :) Keep us informed about your progress!

Good luck!

Good luck Martizzo! You're posting lots of hands, keep doing that and you'll improve a lot.

Yes this days are hard because i can't beat 0.1/0.2$ limit. Downswing is taking confidence of decitions, but i do my best in inmproving my game. Only best thing is that at downswing i don't tilt.
From 60$ -> 37$

Man that sucks martizzo, I recently had a downswing from 410$->210$

I see you post many hands in the sample hands forums- more than most people (very good thing to do), just keep working at it and improving your game and I'm sure you'll climb the limits soon =)

Hi martizzo,

Everyone has downswings, it's just part of the game. But if you know how to get along with it, you'll be fine and it will be just a matter of time before you'll go up again!

Good luck!

Downswing continued i said i don't tilt but after few lossing session i started to play badly. Which led to tilt when i play under my BRM. Last week deposited my own 50$ which i play pretty successfully (ofc with ups and downs). Now i much confident because read several psychology articles and chris ferguson article about keeping money in bad this was exactly my case. Now i'm grinding at 0.15/0.30 and bankroll stands 112$.
Today had donwswing down to 96 thought to play several sng and won 3 of them.

Best wishes,
Martizzo

Hey martizzo!

Good to see things improving! Just keep posting hands, watching videos, reading content and minding the tilt/BRM so that we can hopefully read about you moving up in the limits.

Best regards,
SoyCD

This week was good at the beggining:
*went to new 0,15/0,30
*got silver status
*most essential thing my game improved that i can easily beat FL20 level.

But in middle of the week something happened i played 3$ SnG's cards were running really hot TT/JJ/QQ/KK/AA/AK/AQs were strangely beaten, sounds like coincidence, but then KK ran on three tables into AA and/or beaten on river on some kind of gutshot i call it bad luck.

On FL30 tables played my A game but lost on turn/river to twopair with TPTK, set beaten by some other draw and other stuff.

But i managed to get more discipline as bankroll went from 112$-> 41$ it was more psychological discomfort to go back to FL20, but i did.

At least played hard and don't lead to tilt so i'm rebuilding my BR and now don't care about short term result.

Now BR stands at 75$(not too bad i think)

Good luck at the tables,
Martizzo

I'm glad you got back to 75 :)

But please stop playing $3 sngs, they have 25% rake and are almost unbeatable. Also you are much better off playing just FL if that's your main game.

Thanks for information i'll do so.

Ouch nasty downswing, good to see you are grinding it back now

19 place (40$) in Pokerstrategy Siver freeroll because few suckouts.
This hand led to fininshing 19th.

I was middlestack then three tables left, got QKo in MP2 and guy from late weren't deep stacked. So i tried to steal the blinds with all-in, and guess what guy from BB called and he shows KTo then i saw the flop Q95 i felt relaxed but terrible turn card came J giving him straight i lost control and thought i will fight for first place and played more hands like KTo QJo because i was shorstack with 3,7BB.

Also got ITM in PS basic freeroll i played were for fun because when got in the money card were runing bad so tried my luck :)
I'm very happy about results.

I've restarted my career this time very seriously, moved through microlimits straight up until July.
I've played ~30k hands with constant 1.6BB/100 I know its not much, but for me enough. At July I've used same TAGish style poker, but my draws didn't hit, made hands didn't hold up, semi-bluff didn't work. So In general everything messed up. But i've survived because of pokerstrategy summer promo(btw i play on Titan) from it i get 40% rakeback. It is very nice promo, it keeps me going...
This week i play at 0.25/0.50$ to gain confidence back, until i reach 450$ or 500$. I will use very conservative brm because downswing period furstrates me, and metal side suffers from it.

My (August probably) plan is:
* Reread all articles
*Watch all SH video(stox videos also great),
*Visit one coaching and also hardest task make video SH with some of my thoughts.
*Start using approx charts

Here's my graph, BR at 400$
