you can checkraise the flop, to generate fold equity against possible six live outs, but there is no better hand, that will fold to your checkraise. so check/call, check/call and evaluate on the river might be the better play. if he raises the turn again, you have to invest a lot of money, for your marginal hand and if the turn offers more draws, villain might even semibluff, so you can't even fold on the river.

for a check/CD you need about 37% equity on the flop (of course you have to fold to a bad board development).

No, then it is best to fold as you are changing your hand into a bluff. A hand like 96 would be better to check/raise because you have some additional outs with a gutshot.

but you should call the flop once as you have possible SDvalue (a little with Q high) and maybe some outs (overcards, bdstraight, etc.).
