especially against a maniac you played that hand way to passive. Even if he could have AK which he'd 3bet Preflop he's got so many worse hands as he'd probably raise each pair, all of his draws and Ax with lower kicker that you should have been happy to get the opportunity to 3bet right away on the Flop. Or at least you should checkraise the Turn as your relative Position is quite good. You can trap CO inbetween and i did really expect him to call again on the Turn but ok. But as a default 3bet the Flop, not even just against a maniac but against anyone unless a Rock.

Folding is by far not a good consideration. Lets imagine your opponent is aggressive and you just have K8 and he raises the Flop and the Turn is a 3 and the River is a Queen. Your pair looks quite weak but you have to think in ranges which means that really terrible cards are just those that connect really well to 7 and 8. J T 9 etc but although Q is an overcard, it shouldnt have helped him a lot if he's got draws in his flopraising-range.

As a beginner i know that you'Re sometimes a little too cautious and you cannot well estimate your handstrenght and it's sometimes a small boarder between being too passive and being too aggressive but you'll keep learning and next time you'll remind my handevaluation and 3bet the Flop.
