Congratz, man! I wish you all the best for the New Year!

If I remember correctly you did something similar last year (maybe not THIS huge tho) and said "never again" back then too

Which one was worse? :)

I have mixed feelings about the year. I am happy that I made SNE again and with my second 6 figure year in a row. However, I think this year was a wake-up call. I spent the first 7 months fucking around outside of poker and making the bare minimum (50k vpps) to keep SNE. Laziness and lack of motivation left me needing 60% of SNE in the last 3 months and 270k in December (FML).

I was playing catch-up all year. Not only was I catching up with VPPs, but I was severely left behind the curve in the games. I was so delusional in the first 7 months that I did no review or study and all of a sudden I found myself in 5-6 reg games where I was probably the leakiest one in the games. I knuckled down and started to study every day. I am happy with the improvements I made in the last half of the year but there is still a lot of work to do in 2014 to turn my game around. I enjoyed the reg wars and I was probably lucky not to lose more money in the games considering how lacklustre my play was compared to everyone else.

I have seen many people try and fail at being a pro. It is extremely difficult to find people who can willingly trade information. I am at a huge disadvantage in hypers not being in a stable and not living with other grinders. I have had to do everything myself and this year I could see how poor my play was becoming without professional support from my peers. I am truly jealous of you guys who have the opportunity to share ideas with each other on a daily basis.

I have to congratulate Mafia, Melkien, Ruse and TheDrunk. I played an insane amount of hours with these 4 guys and they deserve a mountain of respect for completing their challenges. I definitely cursed all of you on many occasions, questioned the plays and called you fish. But the reality is that you guys have so much of my respect for what you did and I enjoyed being challenged by you every day. There are many more regs who I have learnt from this year, but these 4 guys are at the forefront of my mind after a huge December.

My immediate plans are to take a 2 week break and start with some light sessions at the 60s with heavy review/study. I have a hell of a lot of work to do on my game to where I feel comfortable again playing higher. If things go well I could be in the 200s again in a few months.

I am also looking forward to moving into my house in 2 months. A fresh perspective should bring some motivation. Not to mention new fast fibre internet and a custom built desk!

Anyway the fun stuff is below.

Thanks for reading.

Graphs and Statistics

2013 All games all stakes

BI Breakdown (stake/number/ROI/Time/$/Rake/Hrs)

Did great in the 60s.
Got absolutely destroyed in the 100s all year.
Was lucky to break even in the 200s.
Lost a shit tonne in the 300s in 1 day (lol sample).

Total net winnings : -$17152
Total net winnings paid out to backers: $4481

Bonus breakdown (starting as SNE) :

Buying $1.6k bonuses with 100k FPPS : $80000
Stellar milestone rewards : $44400
Battle of the Planets : $3130
Other (collusion refunds/reload bonuses) : $100
Total bonuses : $127780
Hours played: 891
$/hr : $124.16

Strange that I worked 120 less hours compared to 2012, my ABI is much lower but my games played is much higher. More efficient maybe?

Fun stats (ALL PRE RB)

Most $WON in 1 day : $9513 (Nov 19th)
Most $LOST in 1 day : $10491 (Nov 18th)
Most hours played in 1 month : 227 (December)
Most hours played in 1 day : 11 hours / 749 games / $2457 raked (December 27th)
Total AVG BI : $88.97
Total number of games played : 56756
Number of Golden SnGs?: Wish I could get this from stars. I seriously hit so many I can't even remember. It is probably between 15-20. BRAG

Happy new year my friend and congrats on your results and achieving SNE again!
I loved how you were honest about your lack of work for 7 months, it takes real courage to admit when you do something wrong as many people will always look for easy way out (blame it on somebody else).
I wish you in this year to crush even more those hypers, move to 100-200s+ soon and dominate them with ease.
If you ever get nostalgic about having fellow grinders around, you know our office is open for you 24/7 just have to move to Serbia that's all

Another huge year, I remember playing with you at the $22s at FTP somewhere in 2008/2009 if I'm not mistaken, what a difference

Congrats on finishing the year with SNE again and enjoy your two weeks off!

thanks again guys <3

I am really enjoying my time off. All I was thinking about for the last 3 months was SNE. Now I can finally relax and the excitement of 2014 has hit me.

Bought a new couch for the house today. Going to look at a furniture store tomorrow that makes custom tables/desks. Spending a bit of cash on all the furniture, but it will be so worth it and really good quality. Can't wait!!!
