The previous intro is in the spoiler, mostly about crap no one wants to read, but I'll leave it for anyone bored enough to read, and for myself to read when I want to remind myself what kind of a fish I was. Spoiler So I guess I'll start this... Some things no one cares, but I want to write anyway. I'm 23, born and live in Belgrade, Serbia, and, as the title says, I'm a tennis coach. I'm also a IT student, and an aspiring poker player. My greatest love is sports. I love all of them. Obviously tennis, football, basketball etc. I am a big fan of Red Star Belgrade, the 1991 champions of Europe. It's been a tough few years for us, but good things are coming. I also support Man United and Tottenham (how the hell can I support two teams in the same league is beyond me, but it's just the way it is). Serbian tennis is currently NO1 in the world, as of yesterday we have tied with Spain for the most titles in this year. I started playing poker 3-4 years ago, so I created bwin, FTP and PS accounts (and now I can't be tracked there). Then a while ago I found pokerstrategy.com, registered and busted again. The problem was that with my studies at the time, and my job I had no time for proper poker development. I shortstacked for a while on party with my starting capital, then a few days before time to clear my bonus was to expire I played NL50 or something and busted. I thought I'd lose it anyway. A while later I played some freeroll at bwin, won it for some 100+ $ and things went from there. I deposited 20 euros to moneybookers so that I can move my BR around (only deposit ever), and from then I started searching for both the right room, and the right game type. Best were sngs at party, but the rake was going to kill me, and I bailed. Also played NL10 at 24h poker with good results (>10bb/100 for just over 10k hands), but the software was tilting me and I couldn't stay there. A month or so ago, I deposited some funds at stars, just to play some MTTs, and ended up moving my entire roll there. I again played all types of poker, ending with HU SNGs. I was winning at the 7s (no sample, some 200 games), but way way over EV, so I figured I should study some more (Pokerstrategy, why don't you have HUSNG material?). Then I figured I couldn't withdraw from stars without forfeiting signing up bonus and gave up on that. I don't want to deposit any money, so I had to find another game type... There comes the famous jbpatzer :) I doubt that I'd start to play such a low-popularity game without you doing it first. I absolutely fell in love with it, and although I'm a fish at it, the level of play is even worse, so I'm earning while learning. Well, breaking even, but not losing is winning in my book :) There it is, if you read it, the joke's on you. I'll write here for my sake, if anyone wants to join, go ahead, be my guests. Cliffs: - played all sorts of games in all poker rooms. - First moved to stars and started playing HUSNGs around September/October 2011. - Played 5cd after that. - Back to HUSNGs. - Played all speeds until finally in June 2012 I decided I'd stick with hypers and try to do it properly. - Started with $3.5s and moved up in stakes until I started taking shots on the 60s end November 2012.

Anyway, 2014 started pretty poorly for me. The downswing from late December continued, and I was down another 4k this year at one point. I am still down, but things seem to be picking up.

After losing a big part of my BR, plus cashing out a fair bit, I found myself with two problems:

1) Lack of confidence and
2) Low bankroll.

Trying to fix the first one with coaching. I started having sessions with a coach who has a good reputation in the game. However, after the first session, I started running even worse, so I couldn't really tell if things are better or worse. Last 700-800 games look better already. Next session soon.

As for the second part, I didn't know if I should get staked or just move down. Decided to get staked, and by one of ps members ( he can say hi if he wants ). BE for the stake for now, but with high hopes :f_biggrin:

To top it all off, my hdd died a few days ago, so I had to cancel the coaching session, couldn't play etc.. Bought a new SSD ( Samsung 840 EVO 250Gb), installed everything, and I'm ready to play.

I'll try not to fail at updating any more

( I know I owe you yearly goals, but that will have to wait for now )

Hey man!

DS sucks but that's what makes you professional not amateur poker player You will go trough it I am pretty sure.

Regarding dilemma you have I suggest moving down vs getting stacked cause of 2 reasons!
1) You get to keep all the profit for yourself
2) Your confidence from DS is down and playing the same limits is not recommended (rebuild confidence on lower limits and come back with stronger mindset and profit!)

Also I was going to ask you - when are you coming to Nis man? Lets hang out and meet finally !

Define "update more often". Does it mean once a month :f_wink:

I hope things turned around and you're crushing again. I know blog updates helped me in moments when I struggled. Because I had to think about certain things and write it down so they sound logical. It's time consuming but it helped me.

In any case keep grinding and run better ♦

Ivica, I ended up getting staked. It takes some of the pressure of, and I couldn't stand the pressure right now.

And I still don't know when I'll be coming to Nis. It's on my to-do list, but I really don't have much time now.

Milan, yeah, that makes sense. I don't want to come here every day and write boring updates with daily graphs etc.. and then I forget to update at all But I'll make sure to update (at least) on every Monday on how the previous week went.

Anyway, I didn't play much past week. Had (even more) internet problems, was sick for two days, and had a birthday to celebrate (26 now, starting to get old).

Had a good day yesterday, played really well and focused, and finally ran good.

Time to play now

Ahhh You finally started the never ending celebration of 25th birthday... I celebrated it last November for the 5th time, and I just feel I'm not getting any older

Good luck with the staking, am just sad I didn't get a piece of it (was it on the staking thread?)
