Villain 21/16, CO open 32, cbet IP 57%, wtsd 27

PF+F standard...

OTT I though this card is better for my range but I dont know if its true... If the board would be KJ3 then its much more possible he doesnt cbet Jx so OTT he has no trips in range... BUT on this board he could cbet 8x hands for protection.

Then when I got raised its total spew but I´d like to know how should I adjust to these raises on KJ3rJ board... just say to myself: "mehh this card hits my range and he still raises me so I just fold all except of Jx+" or or should I somehow fight back?

Hey JohnyC1337,

Preflop defend is fine.

Flop x/c seems pretty reasonable on this texture. Possibility turn card hits our range harder than villain. If it's the J on the KJ3r it almost definitely hits our range harder imo. 8 less so for the reason that villain may bet for protection as mentioned.

I think turn bet/fold is generally good. If the texture wasn't paired we'd consider calling for our FD outs. The paired turn is really bad for our implieds. So bluffing is probably slightly better than flatting here, but I think overall just a fold. Same applies on the KJ3r.

However I don't think it's actually necessary we lead turn just because 8 hits our range. Checking stil ok. expect villain's barreling frequency to be a little lower on this card anyway, so we often see a free river after we check and we still retain the ability to lead river as a bluff.
