the "required equity" is break-even equity, is it not?

TY! And yes :) though maybe plotting the break-even fold equity for a given SPR (so that X = SPR, Y = BEFE) would be better and more useful...? Don't really know.

to be quite honest, I do not have a firm grasp of how to use SPR while playing.

This is a considerable lack, since I often find myself 150, 200 or more BB deep (I wish it was more often).

If I get more then 250 BB deep, I exit and reenter (assuming zoom) to bring my stack back down.

So a couple of questions:
An SPR of 2 would exist if the effective stack is 200BB and the pot is 100BB. Is that correct? Or is it the other way around?
Can you give us an example of how to use the graph while playing?

Thanks,
--VS

Yeah the SPR is the size of the stack divided by the pot, so 200bb stack with 100bb pot is a SPR of 2 :)

Example:

I squeeze OOP and get called, pot is 29bb, I have 87bb behind and because of the board/dynamic/opponent/whatever I plan to barrel flop and shove good turns.

In order to have a potsize bet on the turn I need to cbet (effective stack - pot)/3 = (87-29)/3 = 19.3bb. The turn improves my equity and is a little scary for my opponent. Pot is now 67.6bb, stack is 67.7bb.

Now I think about villain's range. I need 33% equity vs his calling range for a profitable value shove. But in addition, he can also fold better hands than mine. How often do I think he folds? 10%? 20%? 30%? If so, I need even less equity vs his calling range and I can profitably shove wider, with a lot of draws.

I don't check the graphs in game, but I look at them periodically to have an idea how of much (or how little) equity I really need in those spots.

I would love to see Uri reviewing a video from a guy playing 50bbs effective stack. If not, the Uri playing live 50bbs effective stack :)

O must say that I am learning a lot with Uri.
"My" video review had a lot of good information, but also all the other coaching sessions are great.

I just don't understand why he is alwys asking for videos. It is a great poportunity for everyone to have a top player/coach analyzing his game.

It is beeing very helpfull for me.

Hey Uri I'd love to see you play or review a deep ante and/or HU video in your coaching - is there any chance this'll happen?

Is there a reason why the live strategy videos are no longer uploaded on justin tv?

Hello,
once Uri Peleg showed how wide should a defending range look like using excel and estimation, how much of our preflop equity can be realized postflop (it was something like 70%, 80%). Does anyone remember the formula to calculate the required equity of our range to justify a call please?
