partypoker - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 78.78 BB (VPIP: 9.09, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 11)
SB: 475.62 BB (VPIP: 24.41, PFR: 17.65, 3Bet Preflop: 7.88, Hands: 1,669)
BB: 167.52 BB (VPIP: 25.62, PFR: 18.26, 3Bet Preflop: 5.46, Hands: 500)
UTG: 163.96 BB (VPIP: 24.69, PFR: 16.05, 3Bet Preflop: 2.70, Hands: 81)
Hero (CO): 402.7 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♥ T♦

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, SB raises to 10 BB, fold, Hero calls 7 BB

Flop: (21 BB, 2 players) 3♥ 7♦ 9♥
SB bets 12 BB, Hero calls 12 BB

Turn: (45 BB, 2 players) 9♠
SB checks, Hero checks

River: (45 BB, 2 players) T♠
SB checks, Hero bets 4 BB, fold

Spoiler

Hero wins 46.76 BB

3bet vs co 9%, c/f 90% flop, c/f turn 6/6.

Is it ok call 3bet deep? I dont want to 4bet because I dont expect enough folds to be +EV.

I rather call flop because I can continue on T, A, and any hearts on turn, and if heart comes I can overbet turn and river?

I don't like calling ATo. Think we're often winning a small pot or losing a medium sized or big pot.

Why not raise the flop though? You're in position and can barrel any heart. Players in general get scared to play deep oop. So I'd raise flop and pot turn if a heart hits.

In party poker there is no fold button in general and
He will fold mostly worse hands.

He will fold hands on turn the same as on flop, i can also
Barrel on turn flush and i have showdown value.

I rather raise hands as JQhh.

I dont call preflop to stack him when i hit
But to defend enough% vs 3bet and hand beats his bluffs.

Can you please suggest defend range deep?
I 4bet AQo AK QQ+, A6s-A9s and call
All suited broadways, ajo, kqo,Ato and 67s+,
22+. I or 27% co

Hi,

B/c AT seems standard being ip. Don´t think SB is 3-betting too many worse hands, but position gives you that big postflop advantage that you should not fold broadway hands being 400bb deep (unless player is complete nit)
If you´re going to float that flop I think you should bet turn. AT does not have that much showdown value and you can bluff on hearts and likely 8 or some broadway river cards. Mostly he should be taking c/f line or if he c/c then he should be c/f to your river overbets.

If player is not out of line then I would likely not 4-bet bluff him too much, which means I would also b/c pre-flop AQ, AK, sometimes QQ, Axs hands.

best regards,

People often pot control deep so i planned
To bet river vs missed bet. Is that ok? Would you
Overbet only hearts on river?

Hi,

Seems fine plan, if player are c/c pairs on the turn.
If I would bet turn then I would likely overbet most rivers, since I don´t think he has there too many 9x hands and he should mostly fold (unless your image is really bad and he plan to go on showdowns)
Overbetting ofcourse with nut flush blocker helps :)

best regards,

Are you calling here JTo PF? His 3bet range doesnt even seem that big anyway.

Likely I would fold JTo, but being 400bb deep I think we can widen our pre-flop calling range and float or raise him quite often on low drawy boards.
So it doesn´t really matter too much which hands we´re calling ip, - we´re usually not going to end up playing ABC poker.

In that case and since his PP's vs CO are likely TT+ why not call suited conectors and suited aces preferably over the offsuited brodways?

Sure you call also that and gappers and everything :)
We just need to hit nuts and get rich for 400bb. He will be often in a tough spot, I would
raise 2x flop with value and draws (his bluffs fold anyway, and value hands dont fold anyway), and overbet turn 2x and shove river, so with those sizeing I can choose many bluffs and stay balanced. Coatch, do you think it is ok gameplan?

I would raise flop 79s, and sets, also as bluff 65s, TJs, few nut fd Ah2h-Ah5h and bdfd
AhQo, AhJo, AdQd, AdJd, AdTd.
Well, this board we hit really bad, not many strong combos, but on most of the boards
we can choose really many bluffs if we want to play for stacks.

Imo it depends which hands and how often he is 3-betting pre-flop being oop 400bb deep. If it is only for value- for example QQ+, AK I would likely not defend too often, since he very rarely 3-bets us.

Attacking on low boards seems fine. I would likely also raise with AhTx, since I can always represent flush when it comes on the turn and get him to fold by overbetting river.

You likely can overbetting turn, but once he calls your turn bet I doubt he is going to fold too many blank rivers, so you may put in 400bb with very few fold equity.

If player is not going to call you down with overpairs then overbetting turn and shoving river is very good game plan, since he should not 3-bet us with 99/77/33

best regards,

If i make balanced range i dont mind if he
Calls all bluff catchers for 400bb.
I dont have idea how he reacts, and if i make it value
Heavy there is a good chance that he exploits me by folding
overpairs, so i would start with balanced range until
I get idea about his frequency.

this spot comes up quite rarely, so I doubt he can call you down 400bb deep if you´re balanced. I would just not try to make play every time- against some players you just don´t have enough fold equity to try taking pot away if turn and river are safe cards.
