I wanted to play that event too, but it started at 4AM my local time... And I'm obviously sleeping at that time :P
The next one (MM-087) is at 7PM, so... Hope to see you there ;)

Missed that event :f_cry:

But anyway pokerwise I wanted to reach the $1000 bankroll mark this weekend but I could only get up to $900. I got to play up to 9 games on a day this weekend even when I was really busy, I don't know how I could achieve that.

For what is left of the month I hope I can take my bankroll up to 4 figures and that would be awesome.

1000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sun is shining, 25 °C and a nice sunday family lunch is waiting for me, can it be better??? Yes because I just break the 1000$ mark :f_biggrin:.

And of course the nice lifetime graph showing a 20% overall ROI from the $1.5 up to $15 games over a three and a half month period.

I was so anxious to get to this point but the moment I got it was the moment I needed to set a new step. So whats next?

Maybe I should say a big number Dr Evil style???

But no, cause that would just keep me in my confort zone waiting for that number to come.

I think this is the perfect time for me to improve my poker skills so my goals should point in that direction. In that spirit I'll do the following:

To create some solid math fundations into my game I have ordered this couple of books.

- The Intelligent Poker Player
- Further Limit Hold 'em: Exploring the Model Poker Game

I'll get them by the 15 of april if everything goes in order.

Now I'm definitely going up to the $30 games and taking a shot at $60 when I feel confortable. I didn't take a shot at the $30 games earlier because I wanted to get a 1k bankroll but now that i've got rid of that I can just play and enjoy.

And finally I'm thinking into gettin some coaching when my bankroll can afford it and combined with having already read those two books.

And to make it a challenge I will give myself a two month period to achieve all that.

I'll stick only to HU S&G by now. In the future (this year of course) I want to beat some levels of 6max FL (don't want to depend on HU only) and start learning NL MTT (to play online and live too)

A lot of work to do but loving every second I spend on it.

Thanks for the support !!!

Well this was a slow start of the month, still waiting for my books to arrive.

I did play some $30 games, and well is not as different as I thought it would be, there is less action of course and the same regulars too.

For the sign off a really fun Game of Thrones video, I can really see Tyrion Lannister playing poker.

Month review :f_biggrin:

Last month started slow and ended the same way, didn't get to play as much as I wanted but still with possitive results, and we changed the clocks an hour earlier wich sucks cause now I have more hours of difference with the peak hour at pokerstars.

But all wasn't that bad, I had almost a 20% ROI, if it wasn't for a downsing (like 3 games in a row but thats a downswing for FL HUS&G) on the last couple of days it would have been way over that %.

The study part has been going ok, now I'm finishing the first read of the first book. Nice ideas and a lot of work to do so this weekend I will try to apply what I learned into my game to end up with a good gameplan that can take me to higher limits.

So this month goal will be to build a solid strategy and if I get to 1.8K~2k take a shot at the $60 games.

I will be updating this more often and hope to put more hours into poker too.
