NL2 FR - what to do against calling station?

Preflop open is ok, although again 3bb open is fine imo.

Flop cbet is fine, although we should mainly only bet with draws if we expect to get folds some percentage of the time.

So if by the turn we felt villain was not folding that frequently after he calls flop it's fine to check turn and play our draw passively according to pot odds.

Building a pot has a small benefit, i.e we can get a bigger payout on the river - however this is just a secondary benefit. We should mainly only bet draws if we expect folds some percentaage of the time.

My two cents here. What do you want him to fold with your bets? After your flop bet he shows interest in the pot. By him checking the lead to you I suspect he has a marginal hand/draw. I figure he would checkraise with made hands or he is slowplaying.
He could be on straight/2nd nut flush draw. I wouldn't say he's a calling station since you have no reads.
He could have AJ/KJ type of hand and suspects you're just stealing and try to push him off the pot since you could be opening very wide from the CO.
Like w34z3l says, I'd play the draw passively on the turn, hoping to hit.
If you don't hit you can X/X or fold to his bet.
If you do hit however he can suspect you're weak, not holding a club since you slowed down after your cbet & lead in to you. He might even call off a clickback raise.

Thanks both of you, i agree checking turn would be the better option. My biggest leak is feeling obligated to bet when checked to and i have a draw.

I did expect a fold from any pocket not yet a set and single pairs with no shot at the flush draw. Was expecting a fold on the turn from any overpairs or pairs. Any flush, JJ, 55, 44, 77 would have called. I don't think a single club would have called either. Was definetly expecting to take the pot on the turn.
