Villain is kind of fishy, once he barrelled 3 streets with A high IP (with smallish bet sizes). I was quite sure he'll bet flop when checked to him.

i cbet as start ch call turn and if he was bareling ch/c river too

why do you think cbet is better when he folds a part of his range to a cbet but probably bets a wider range himself that we can get value from and we also play a bigger pot vs a fish with an overpair which is a nice scenario.

ch/c might be also fine, but I think we still have value and my hand is pretty vulnerable so I also see a need to protect it.

we Cbet for balance + cos our hand is vulnerable + its not that likely that he is betting when its ch to him and his continuing range is wider when we cbet F ch T, then his beting flop calling C/r range imo

I don't agree with this part. Vs a random fish after 27 hands I don't see any reason to balance.

I agree with this part, the range you mention is really wider than his c/r calling range.

in general when u play u r not balancing only vs one player u r balancing vs all player on this table, and i cbet like 98% of time on that board

Hi all,

If you opt to check/raise this board I would probably call the 3bet and fold to a continued turn bet, unless we hit a 9.

Vs an "aggressive" opponent who uses small bet sizes here, I would just take the initiative with 99 and triple barrel, possibly c/c turn or river instead of betting. I'd rather c/c down with a hand like 33 or 55 here. This way we can get slightly more into the pot, whilst also not bloating it like you've done here with 99 IMO.

I also agree with chenny on bet flop then start checking to induce on turn- he likely never folds any part of his range to one bet imo and if he bet/f air quite a lot then this line less +EV

Also I don't really like your ch/rai sizing I think its a bit too big for him to continue with air most of time - though it worked here
