I wouldn't know where to start about my poker career, but this is the latest session I did for 888poker.

Action goes like this:
papees1 min raises pre-flop
helion calls
FLOP: Q4J
helion bets half pot
papees1 raises all-in and you can see the outcome

Now, since I know the guy is the definition of a donk, I know that pretty much any top pair is good against him.
But guess what, I get aces after 2-3 hands and of course I decide to trap him, but along the way I get re-raised all in by villain2, donk re-raises all in and I call. And guess what, I get donked.

Well, I'm usually bothered alot by this kind of stuff, but to my surprise I was quite calm, since it was only a freeroll tournament worth 10€, I fold rags the next hand and I get K7 suited and I decide to play it a little bit more aggressive, I raised 3xBB pre-flop, I get called by villain7 and by the donk.
I get top pair, I c-bet 1200, I get re-raised to 27xx by villan7 since he was short-stacked, donk calls and I call, hoping to check it down to the river.
I get another king on the turn and I go all in and donk calls.
Well, I got trapped by a set, but still... those 3 hands were dealt within a 10-15 hand-range, not to mention that in some hands I didn't show, donk got a few more hands against all-in sit-outs.
I mean... either the site is super rigged or the guy had the luckiest session of his life...

Hi, shbcristiRNMD...
Welcome to the forums!

I'm sure you recognize that these are not the only possibilities.

It is part of the whole spectrum of possibilities
His gf was waiting to take him into her arms and he was desperate to unload all his chips.
He is psychic -- thank Tomaloc, I had not thought of that one.
He is absurdly lucky all the time, and this was standard for him.

I'm not trying to make fun of you, I DO feel your pain.

I play a LOT of freerolls, and I see players going all in every hand, and get lucky several times in a row. But each time SOMEBODY -- often several -- players at the table go in against the shover. Rarely -- if ever -- do any of them have the nuts.

I'm sure you know all this, and were just having yourself a good ol' rant.

Best of luck...

It happens a lot, and I use to get really angry about this things, but at the end is all about probability. If he did something statistically impossible, then report, but I don't see the problem, the guy just got really lucky a couple of times i a row. People usually don't give two fucks about freerols and tend to go all-in all hands.

But about the hands, the second one the guy actually flops top pair, and the third one the guy just calls a 3bet with pocket pairs, makes the set and sticks with that. Even against most of the Kx's, he still haves a full!

Don't tilt yourself, and don't get obsessed about the donks. You will win, but needs to find the spot, and that K7 was not.
