Hi:)

Can i ask quik pot odds question.

to work out pot odds you use this formula....Risk/ (risk + reward )

so on flop here my risk would be £1.88 to win $1.88 + .25c

which = 1.88/ (1.88+2.13) which = 0.468?

so i need 46% for this move to be profitable, pokertracker says i had 42%,(where does pokertracker get his number from)? i tried some different ranges for villain who opens and steals alot so there calling range can be quite wide here so i think that i could easily have 47%...is this correct?

Also from villains side it would be $1.28 to win $1.28 + $2.73

= 1.28/4.01 which = 0.319?

so if they need approx 31%, isnt it gonna more profitable for them to call here than it is for me to shove? as they def have more than 31%.

i usually just work out pot odds with my gut feeling, this is the first time iv done the math so not sure if this is correct.

Hi LoKKK

Preflop: looks fine but the 3-bet could be higher

Postflop: You are risking 60-12 = 48 + 128 = 176 or 1.76

Total pot is 4.01 so 1.76/4.01 = 0.439 or 44%

Now that's assuming you have 0 fold equity which is mostly true given his huge raise on the flop.

For him, he has to call1.28 to win 4.01 so 31.9%.

Also, your cbet should be larger on this board.
