I'm not sure if I offended the poker gods with my charity claim. Now they decide to cooler me to lower my EV instead.

I've never been so card dead for the past 2-3k games. And it's the weekend.

Seems like poker gods want me to donate to fishes instead.

My EV is plummeting, and it's just because I kept running into weird/top of ranges.

I might have to donate $100 while having a loss at the end:(

A bit of a frustrating day, think I got a bit impatient in some spots because of being card dead. Thankfully at the end I ran into some weaker players and I played okay to save myself.

I've been playing a number of regs lately, it might be because I don't have sharkystrator. So I guess not having high ev ROI vs them is pretty normal.

There's quite a lot of adapting to do, thankfully this is just a stake and I don't have to risk my bankroll at all trying to get used to the higher BI which has helped me a lot mentally. Taking shots is a scary thing for many people and it's even scarier when they use their own bankroll and as a result they play a -EV style. And hence it limits their potential.

I'm so glad I'm pushing myself to do better at 15s, regardless of how bad the run is.

My EV has taken a bit of a hit but it's normal I had a similar run over 200-300 games at the 7s, except that on that graph it looks alot shorter with my much higher ROI. As long as I continue to make good decisions it's going to skyrocket again ♦

Played at a slightly different time today (12am to 3am Singapore time, equivalent to 12pm-3pm EST) and I'm pleasantly surprised. Rarely ran into regs and played a large variety of opponents (mostly fishes thankfully) which led to insanely good EV today and a wonderful day overall (:

Oh god, issit too late to take back my claim of donating $100 if i run $400 above EV. Poker gods are clearly angry with me, today i Shoved into KK thrice QQ once AA once in like 20 games when <10bb. FML

Today is just crazy shit run bad, and at the last 2 games made some insane spews and I have to call it a day.

So sometimes when I'm on a dry run for hundreds of games I question my ability to win at husngs.

I looked at my lifetime graph at 7s and 15s:

Everything looks normal and fine and how can I not be a winner with such a graph? ♦

Of course, there is tons of room for improvement, but other than that all bad runs only last so long before an upswing comes.

In hindsight, my biggest downswing was only 20-25BIs in almost 3000 games which is great actually. Considering swings can be even bigger.

Sorry for lack of updates. Busy trying to find my luck vs those weekend fishes. I still can't beat them. lol

EV is finally going up again. But it was a pretty stagnant run at 15s so far. Hopefully I improve on the 2% ROI. I'm quite sure much of it is due to run bad though.

And I think if nothing changes there's no chance I will run $400 above EV by 500 games

Except that it's great to have 1000 games experience at a new limit and not lose money(yet). But the ran still felt really bad to me considering how well I started the month.
