July review:
Started month with a rather huge upswing at 7s, continued to run well. Then I started shooting 15s in the middle of the month. After that it was pretty much break even.
Happy with the volume though. Now I need to use my large sample of hands to analyse my leaks, especially turn and river spots. Will slow down abit this month. In July I was so close to gold star so I played alot more towards the end but did less analysis.

Month so far. No upswing but still satisfied, hopefully I can maintain this for 28 more days. (Got a bad feeling though)
I realise I'm losing way too much when calling vs a river bet (lots of 2nd pair vs top pair situations). I'm working on that at the moment hopefully I see an improvement soon!

Jokes aside, I'm really hoping this turns around soon. It's pretty gross. Struggling to put in games because I just can't get it going.
I can't believe it, I'm finally getting some steady EV increase (while constantly going under EV) and then boom vs unusual weekend aggrofish who love to hit their outs I drop $100 EV in 10 games and lose 8 in a row in the process.
I'm really struggling to keep myself motivated, when I play well I run bad, when I play not so well I still run bad.

I know, but running bad for 8 months straight isn't easy on the mind.
It's true, I can don't care. The problem is I don't want to see myself at the end of a 1-2 year downswing telling myself 'I've wasted 2 years of my life on a stupid thing called poker'
I don't know what's worse, giving up early or giving up late.
Of course, I'm praying that I can get myself together and never give up and hopefully my patience pays off.
Definitely not easy to go through swings in hypers, the only advise I can give you from my pretty poor hyper experience is to study hard and put enormous volume (basically a LOT of work!) and eventually you should start collecting prizes from that hard work.. Without some serious volume you depend a lot on short term variance which could be pretty painful.

Mix of 15s and 100+ games of 7s
This month I tried to go big but was on my way to going broke and lost motivation to grind halfway into the month (School started too so I was easily distracted from poker, which may or may not be a good thing)
It was a really terrible month to be honest. Nothing was going right until I decided to stop grinding. Spent some time looking at my database and analysing some decisions and played less but there's zero motivation because I feel like I'm getting crushed every single game (obviously a huge amount of the time its variance that's crushing me not my opponents but it still feels similar)
I hope to get my engine on soon but it's going to take a while. School's getting busier and there's less and less time for me.
Right now I'm seriously considering taking a prolonged break from poker. The stake is going terribly ($797 under EV) and school assignments are racking up.
Break sounds cool but it won't be the first time I'm taking a long break (Took a long break in April). I'm just afraid the cycle will continue forever and if that's the case I'm better off pursuing something else and quitting poker entirely.
Seriously considering my options..
My staker told me to move down to 7s to regain confidence. down 16bi first 52 games, runbad money obviously 
There's no way I turned from a 2-3% winner to a -5% loser hardly changing my game at all (I've improved rather)

@keoghh: To be honest I don't think I want it that badly. The reason I started playing poker was probably a wrong one (wanted to find a way to make extra cash in spare time). I probably never had the passion nor urgency to pursue poker to the point where I can be successful from it. Looking back at the obstacles I've encountered in my entire poker career, I guess from the beginning I never expected that I have to work so hard for it (There were too many success stories around for some reason, but I had to learn the hard way that those are only written by an elite few) It's starting to inflict more and more emotional and mental pain and while I'm sure the community here will tell me to persist or work on my mental strength, it's perhaps only necessary if I have the passion to do it, otherwise I should not force myself. There are millions of other things to do in this world other than poker.
