Hero wins 93.42 BB

is river ok to bet and size? I didnt want small size which would be obvious for many players, and when I bluff I like to put more pressure. I think he mostly has Qx, busted draws on river and Ax should be only with Ahxh, and he might raise those on some street.

I don't think he has too many AX hands in his range. I think a large bet is definitely good here, unless you think he flats AQ preflop.

1. With an equity edge this large, you can definitely bet 75%-100% pot
Board: 8h5hQd3sAd
Equity Win Tie
MP2 11.36% 11.36% 0.00% { TT, KQs, Q9s+, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah7h, Ah6h, KQo, QTo+ }
MP3 88.64% 88.64% 0.00% { KdKh }

2. I removed TT and added some AQ combos now
Board: 8h5hQd3sAd
Equity Win Tie
MP2 19.51% 19.51% 0.00% { AQs, KQs, Q9s+, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah7h, Ah6h, KQo, QTo+ }
MP3 80.49% 80.49% 0.00% { KdKh }

With ~80% EQUITY edge you can bet around 60% pot

What is the theory behind this correlation?
If we would know that he calls the mentioned range we should bet as big as possible (as long he doesnt start to call tight)?!?

you can find out more about that from MOP i think?

There's some optimal bet size formula which maps equity edge against bet size. They then find out the optimal bet size which maximizes the EV for hero (that involves some basic differentiation and calculus)

Do they incorporate removal effect and splitting in their calculation?
E.g. If you bet very large with AcKc on QcTc2c7c2s, it is not optimal size because it narrows villian range so much that he never calls since you block so many nut combos. Or if you have nuts straight you dont remove all nut combos but when he calls you only split pot.

So i think that if we simply use equity edge to determine optimal bet size it will often enough lead to very wrong solution, so you cant blindly use 80% equty produces 60% bet size.

yes that's one of the flaws of this

it's just a rough gauge though, and this isn't one of those special situations where card removal is super important
