I was playing this tournament this evening and well stacked when suddenly a technical error message appeared and the tournament disappeared.
Anyone else experience this?
Thanks in advance

Since it is a freeroll, we will get double our buy-in back ![]()
I was doing OK -- just over average, but these things happen...

I do not know what I found more interesting/surprising :
1) the interruption of a tournament!? (may be argued that it is a reflection on the software integrity)
2) the fact that only 3 players have posted about it!. this was after all a pokerstrategy free roll with many people entering.
if it was at ipoker i am afraid to say this things happens from time to time.........

Hi, mineriva,
From playing the freerolls, I get the impression that most players are not in the English Community. Not all players give their locations, though...

Ipoker has plenty of bugs, more than I care to count. The rakeback offers are very good and the fish are terrible, but I dislike the software so much that I abandoned a 60% rakeback deal and elected to play on PokerStars instead.

Hi NightShadePMC,
Please send email to the support address for the skin you played on, and detail your objections, and be sure to point out that you have moved on.
I LOVE iPoker for a lot of reasons, but they get only a small amount of my poker time.
You would be doing the poker world a favour. If enough people prod the skin owners, then perhaps the network will be motivated to improve the software.
Remember too that Playtech is the parent company of this site.
Posting feedback in the poker room forums can't hurt either.
Best of luck,

Very well-put, Vorpal, I might actually send them a mail about it.
To sum up iPoker's shortcomings from my point of view:
1. They need to make a stable, bug-free, non-freezing or crashing software.
2. They need more themes and customization options.
3. They at least need some decent avatars, if not custom avatars. Custom avatars help at player recognition.
4. The god damned custom betting buttons! Let them be flexible! If I want to set a button to 55% pot size, I should be able to do that, not just to 50% or 60%. It's more important than they might think.
5. More customisable sound options. They are very limited and unfriendly to multi-tablers.
6. Custom layouts. Enough said.
And just when I was logging into the software to see if I missed anything... The app won't log in and it has to be shut down from task manager
I've been crashing a lot lately due to my wifi connection, but to try and log in again I have to end the task from the task manager before I can login again as NightShade has mentioned - glad to see there are other South Africans playing there though ♦
