Hello

Villain is 14/12, 3bet% 7.7 and fold to 3bet 50% after 65 hands.

I figured flushes and overpairs were part of his range also.

Was it bad to call river?

Hi goncalves7

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I don't think an overpair is a realistic hand there on the river. Some worse flushes are possible but so is 22/33/QQ/TT.

You need to be good about 30% of the time so looking at all combos that beat us we have 10 combos.

Looking at possible flushes we have KQ, KJ, QJ and maybe TJ at best. That's 4 combos, so 4/14 = 28.5% so almost there.

So this looks much closer to a fold than a call. And if it's a call it's very close.
