Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has J♦ Q♦

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, CO calls 3 BB, fold, Hero calls 2.6 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (12 BB, 4 players) 3♦ T♥ A♦
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CO bets 30.8 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 30.8 BB, fold, fold

Turn: (73.6 BB, 2 players) 9♠

River: (73.6 BB, 2 players) 4♣

Spoiler

Hero shows J♦ Q♦ (High Card, Ace) (Pre 31%, Flop 45%, Turn 32%)
CO shows J♠ K♣ (High Card, Ace) (Pre 69%, Flop 55%, Turn 68%)
CO wins 70.6 BB

the villain is a button pusher
I was tempted to to bluff sqeeze from sb but could not see enough folds
so I did a loose call ( all kinds of junk had being showing up at showdown)
flop goes multiway I pick up straight and fd giving me 12 outs CO shoves
I need about 40% to call , with seeing both cards being all in gives me 48%
so I call
good call or too spewey
your thoughts?

Hey Seacat22,

Preflop defend is fine multi-way.

Pretty decent flop, I would generally just lead as a semi-bluff.

Vs CO flop jam we need about 41% equity to call. We have about 12 outs here which should equate to somewhere in the region of 50% equity, so it's fine to call even vs an overbet.
