SB: $18.30 (183 bb)
BB: $10.27 (102.7 bb)
UTG: $10.67 (106.7 bb)
Hero (MP): $10.75 (107.5 bb)
CO: $11.61 (116.1 bb) VPIP 28/ PFR 20/3bet 5/Cbet 71 AF 4.8/ Hands 266
BTN: $10.15 (101.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J J
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.30, CO raises to $1.05, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.25) 8 6 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.22, Hero raises to $3, CO folds

Results:

Spoiler

$4.69 pot ($0.21 rake)
Final Board: 8 6 7
Hero mucked J J and won $4.48 ($2.21 net)
CO mucked and lost (-$2.27 net)

This flop very likely misses his range. The only thing I was worrying is higher pocket pair, made flush and bigger flush draw.
Is my re-raise a good decision here? I decided to raise because folding seems too weak for my over pair. But if i call i dont know how should i proceed on the turn...

Hi cookyik

Preflop: Villain doesn't 3-bet a ton overall and this is CO vs MP and a VERY large 3-bet. So just fold pre

Postflop: The problem with raising here is that you again get called only by better or hands with at least 50% equity (NFDs). And then you fold pretty much everything else.

Sometimes that's ok because you get his equity to fold but because his range is stronger in these spots he has less things that he can fold.

If this was a spot like BTN vs SB it would be totally different.
