Just were gonna start poker again and i found this threat.

Is online poker still safe?

Can it be beaten?

So basicly im asking is it wise to start and put my time in to it?

I'd normally answer with "yes" to all three questions, but, after all the shit that's been going on lately and PokerStars just announcing a rake increase, I honestly don't know if it would be advisable to pick up poker right now.

As for it being beatable - it certainly is, but it takes a lot of hard work and continual improvement to remain a winning player. I know this because it's my only source of income, so it's not a generic "master Miyagi"/"hard work is the road to success" answer.
