Hi guys

Im buying new monitor which should be 90% for poker user and the rest should be watching movies and browsing internet.
"27 inches whith resolution 2560×1440 will do the job + it needs to be ergonomic.
Despite that i'm already using gunner glasses and flux sofware I place the big importance on reduce of eyes train & fatigue, so functions like flicker-free and low blue light reduction are welcomed.
I read the EIZO monitors are one of the best and FlexScan EcoView Series seems to be the right choice but their primary designation is for graphical and office. E.g i found this one -> 27" EIZO EV2736WFS
Can somebody approve me this choice or should i keep searching. Thank uuuu!!

also Im not sure which surface should i choose matte, shiny, antireflect.... and if to search for ips or VA models

Question:
What exactly is the difference between matte and anti-reflect?

All of my monitors give off no reflection.
My work laptop had a shiny screen and I really disliked it.

no idea, maybe question for some expert:-)
So currently I'm deciding between 27" EIZO EV2736WFS starting from 650e and 27" BenQ BL2710PT for 450e
i really like EIZO more but question is if its worth of to pay 200e more

Are the contrast ratios the same?
We had some BenQ here at work that we didn't particularly like, though I cannot really remember what we didn't like about them.
What are the warranties like on each?
Can you post a link to a spec comparison (I'm just curious)?

I hadn't heard of EIZO until now. I get most of my personal computer hardware from NCIX (I'm in Canada) and they don't appear to stock them. Others in Canada do, though.

I found an article that discusses the difference in the various monitor types.
That might shed some light on the issue :coolface:

I didnt find any place where i can compare both together so i pick just few thinks
Both have same contrast but benq has typical brightness 350 cd/m2 and EIZO 300 cd/m2. I understand it like that the lower the better in typical setting? Is that right?
warranties is 5year for EIZO and 3 years for Benq.
