MP: $8.07 (40.4 bb)
CO: $20 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $22.30 (111.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K T
MP folds, CO raises to $0.60, Hero raises to $1.80, 2 folds, CO calls $1.20

Flop: ($3.90) J 2 3 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($3.90) J (2 players)
CO bets $2.55, Hero folds

CO- 22/15 over 203 hands, AF 1.3
SB- 15/14 over 143 hands, AF 1.8 3bet 10.2%

I've realised recently i'm not defending enough from the button. Are you calling here w/ KTs. I normally prefer 3betting because we don't run the risk of being squeezed from the blinds and the SB looks like an aggro 3better

Hi legand

Preflop: KTs seems a bit too good to turn into a bluff from the bTN. While SB looks more aggro in 3-bet pots he seems like a nit overall

Postflop: as played folding turn is fine.

How does this change our decision. Are we looking to call his squeeze because we expect him to tighten up postflop or something?

Nitty means that we expect him to not join the pot as often (either call or 3-bet) and no, we wouldn't really call the squeeze with this hand.

Hi Bordan,

Let say, we call preflop. do we float on this Flop if villain cbet?

That's a good question.

What do you think?

I think that it depends first on his bet size, but most of the time we can float smaller bets and fold to bigger ones at these limits.

I think I will call 1/2 pot bet on Flop and if villain check Turn then I will :
1. bet Turn and River (bluff)
2. bet Turn and check back River unimproved
3. check back Turn and bet River (bluff)

which line do you prefer?
