GRoDT report for 1-7.12

718 hands
-$12
$1611
7 weeks

Spoiler

SnGs

Cash

- $238 'at the tables'

+$226 from bonuses, chase winnings owed for November (that I didn't include last time as I wasn't sure of the prize size) and recalculation of value of LB points

Bear in mind that the numbers for the whole challenge might be a bit off due to currency rate fluctuations (I was using each week's actual Oanda rate for euro accounts, instead of tracking the value of the whole siterolls according to current rates).

But as far as x-rates, though 70% of my current liquid money is stored in €, I've still lost much more on the fall of the Russian rouble than I won in poker over this time :f_mad:

That's where I end my participation in the challenge - as said above, I have zero reasons to waste time on all these weekly audits (I've done this one for the fans, if there are any at all; it goes without saying that it's recommended to not look into the cashier at all, though some tricks are needed to avoid it on iPoker), as even a status upgrade is not worth it.

GL to those still in!

No money in poker - every good reg is running bad :f_mad: There's been an invasion of unlucky MS-HS regs onto my tables today :f_mad:

I finished 12th in the LB freeroll (~bubble i.e.) :f_mad:

But I've put in a mammoth 5-hour session (Stars PLO50-100, mostly with antes), played more tonight than in the whole last week :f_biggrin:

Oops, I've double-checked, and it turns out that yesterday was my 2nd best ever (by a narrow margin) day in terms of poker earnings in $ excluding MTTs, after the Christmas night of 2013. But of course it was mediocre in terms of winnings in avg BIs. Lol shottaments :f_rolleyes:

Thanks for tuning in, SvenBe!

I had opted out of the challenge over a month ago. During the Christmas holidays, I was suffering from non-poker psychological problems and played far less than I had planned.

Also, I've decided to essentially end the online poker career in a few days because of fatigue, lack of motivation, the introduction of the source-based rake model on iPoker that is already near and the consequential reduction of rewards for regular players that is expected, and planned migration to live PLO. I'll sustain Silverstar, but not more, maybe except for reload periods, and play only nanostake PLO and solely for live environment simulation purposes. Sorry for that.

Hey tonypmm - good luck with the break and the live game... maybe you'll update us with tales from your live PLO adventure?

Thanks for the good wish, good luck to you in spingos and elsewhere! :f_wink: I'll think on your suggestion, but I'll have no big updates for many months to come anyway.
