If we are bluff catching flop and turn, why do we bet river?

My point exactly. On the other hand when he check river we have the best hand almost always and betting have the same EV as check behind at the very worst case. That's why I bet as I would if I find myself here with KK or 43s while not expecting a lot of calls.

With small size we can't be sure but let's call him laggy opponent.
Knowing that he's laggy and called here, i'll put him on wide range preflop smthing like TT-22, ATs-A2s, KJs-K2s, Q2s+, J8s+, T8s+, 97s+, 87s, 76s, 65s, A9o-A2o, KJo-K9o, Q9o+, J9o+, T8o+, 98o calling range preflop.
So on the flop i think he would minraise all the FD's as bluff and two pair+ as value hands. Smthing like this :

Looking at his range we are mostly ahead. But we still must protect against FD's so raise on flop or on turn is mandatory i think.
If he would have hand raising size on turn would be bigger.
As played,
On the river he would have a lot of busted draws and some pairs. only ~20 out of ~120 hands would have beaten us. So i think betting river is good.

I definitely think you are missing value when you just bet/call the flop vs a small raise.

if villain is laggy I like a small 3-bet for max value and induce.

And as played can we not raise the turn? River bet is fine as his range could even have Jx hands that won't fold or Kx with draws.

So what is the weakest hand you would 3bet/call the flop with here?
