BTN: $1.07
SB: $5.28
BB: $5.00
UTG: $6.22
Hero (MP): $6.06
CO: $5.00

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is MP with Q :diamond: K :club:
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.15, CO calls $0.15, BTN calls $0.15, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.52) Q :spade: 5 :spade: K  (3 players)
Hero bets $0.33, CO calls $0.33, BTN folds

Turn: ($1.18) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.85, CO calls $0.85

River: ($2.88) T :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1.82, Hero folds

Final Pot: $2.88
CO wins $2.76
(Rake: $0.12)

villain (208 hands): 17/14, fcbet 80%, ftcbet 100, WSD 24%

Preflop: Standard I believe.

Flop: Looking back at it I should have bet higher to protect against draws.

Turn: We likely still have the best hand. Villain would have raised with better on the flop, and the 9 of Diamonds is a bit of blank.

River: A whole bunch of draws suddenly got there. Can we really lead? My question and reason for posting the hand is whether it is better to x/c a small bet, or try to play a block bet. I have always been interested in block bets... could we fire some amount less than 50% pot and just fold to a raise? What do you think?

I would bet the flop bigger. Turn cbet is ok, only JT grts there.
I think river is ok - flush and straight hit...

In my opinion you should bet fold R, something like 1/4th of pot something like .8$ would be my choice. If he comes over then just fold.

If he is reg x-F is more fine.
vs fish i prefer bet-fold.

If you put yourself in villains boots R is perfect cards to shoot it completes so many things that you cannot really call anything less than S. This thing luckily works both ways even if villain has 2P, trips, S. He needs to guess that what you have since you would play FD similarly as 2P here.

Bet-Fold!

no one with any clue (even most fish) will have any kind of air in this particular river. he must be turning showdown value hands like AT into a bluff, and there are not even many of those...
so, don't worry too much about being bluffed after checking. since you have top two, a blockbet against worse 2pair seems kinda enticing, but i feel that since literally everything completed it's just too thin and x/f is alright.
