obv my 4b is too sml here, but what should our general strategy be in these spots against villains who seem active 3brs (this guy had stats of 37/21/14 albeit over just 38 hands) - we don't want to take a flop 3way oop, and far too deep to shv, but 4bing and CBing missed flop means we have dusted off nearly 1/2 our stack, really early, in a soft event, which isn't ideal (options???)
also, seeking advice on 3bing oop @ 24-35 bbs, esp in late-stages - eg. @ 28bb eff. AQs facing ep/mp open from TAG - is it reasonable to flat at this stack-depth, rather than 3b and face an awkward spot post-flop oop, when we miss the flop?
I am trying to widen my ranges, generally, but in the small-stakes mtts I generally play, people mostly play quite passively pre-flop, and often I am getting myself in difficult spots oop post-flop, esp when 3bing from the blinds - obv we can increase our barrelling tendencies esp on appropriate trns etc., but this is a quite high variance line, isn't it?
Any advice gratefully received, and I hope this isn't too generalized to be able to answer.
