Against a nit, made two pairs on river

Standard hand in my opinion.

How is this standard?
Horrible play imo, if he's a nit and coldcalling your 3bet preflop..
What part of his handrange Will continue calling on that flop?
Certainly not the part that You beat.. What worse hands would call You here? Maybe the JA of hearts, but thats the only hand i can imagine

And thats only after the flop bet- if he calls your turn bet also on this board, You should check/call river. As Said: What kinda worse hands do You expect calling there?

First of all I don't know what nit means in hero's opinion. I need more info. What is his fold to 3bet, post flop stats etc.
I prefer to fold preflop KQ OOP vs so called nits but I don't mind playing it like the way you did there.

I prefer to shove river and not check/call since nits don't really bluff rivers.

Guys, BU raises, we 3 bet and then the nit cold calls... It makes it a lot different. I think his range will be mostly 77-TT. Maybe some suited highcards. I am not happy with the turn and river bets.

Alarm bells, the nit cold called a 3bet! Agree that it's somewhere along the lines of 77-QQ/AK if villain is nitty and passive enough.

I think check turn and river and be very afraid if villain bets at any time on this board. We don't even have TPTK until the river.

As i look back how I played hand somewhat with bad approach.. I dont mind that I 3-bet OOP, where I think i did mistake was turn and river... As he calles I give him range of 66-1010 and maybe JJ and QQ/AK... I dont think he would be doing this AA or KK... On a flop I think its ok to c-bet and after he calls I think I should approach a lot more carefully. I think check turn is better then bet but with 7 coming on turn we are here loosing against 77, JJ, KJ,AK and that could be easily in his range... After the river card I think I didnt have other choice, maybe check call but I think i wouldnt fold. We still hold really good hand and we beat some hand in his range.
