Hi Confidant91, it makes sense now just didn't understand the point of view that's all. Also the fact that I only play 6max but that I always call the positions UTG MP CO BU SB BB instead of still referring to MP2 from your (original) overview caused some misunderstanding. Many thanks good 1st video btw looking forward to the next ones. All the best

I have a post flop question. I dont really understand why we should bet 2/3 on the flop, turn and river with a made hand? It seems too optimistic... In this course we define a made hand as top pair and overpair. That include top pair weak kicker? Example : We are OOP with initiative, flop comes down and we hit top pair, but we have a weak kicker and the flop is wet/coordinated. Im not sure betting 2/3 on flop, turn and river with a top par weak kicker is good in this situation? Seems dangerous to me :-)

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Hi there, a question about the charts, am I correct that the marked hands are supposed to be raised preflop ?
Is this only to be plaid on shorthanded tables ?

You raise every hand in the chart and only limp with the Call 20 rule if I am correct!
The Chart is supposed for SH tabled (6 Max)

ssiversen: The reason is that this course is for complete beginners so we tried to make it as easy as possible. it is completely sure that there will be spots when ths approach is not optimal but it works in general pretty well which is awesome because even completely unexperienced player can play solid poker for micro limits.

Seems that you are more experienced player so i can recomend u following other courses from other coaches especialy from w34z3l. Or you can skip few first coachings and come back to my course when we start doing more advanced staff.

faithless1: Yes those coachings are for Sh however almost everything is good for FR as well so keep comign on coachings :) And yeah the hands in chart should be always raised as it is explained in lesson1. We only call hands on BB so far.

OK, I understand. This makes sense, thanks :-)
And thanks for the advise. I have been through all w34z3l's material. Im playing NL10 6max regular tables at the moment and preparing for my first shots at NL25. I think your two first coachings in the course where great, and I will continue to follow this course most definitely.

I sometimes find myself overcomplicating/overplaying spots on NL10. The pre- and postflop strategy you have outlined so far seems very solid for NL2 - NL5. I think much of it can be applied to NL10 and may result in less variance. Keep up the good work!

Yeah at the end of course we will show u how to adjust this strategy for nl10 but if u work on your game u should be on nl25 by yourself by that time so keep working on your game :) Gl and see u on another coaching.

First of all, sorry for my English and thanks for your, very good coaching.
I have some doubts.

Pré-Flop
-> When there are 2 raises before us, we play all the red hands too, correct?
-> In the min-raise rule you say “… that doesn’t constitute a steal”, so only applies to all min-raise come from MP2 and MP3, and from CO to SB, only applies when already exists a limp before min-raise (if not I assume that is a steal), correct?
Post-Flop
-> Made hands – it's top pair even if we do not have top kicker?
-> Special rule – Nobody raised pre-flop, we play like if we have raised before the flop? Even the bluff against a single opponent on the flop with a trash hand?

Sorry if my doubts make no sense.

Keep up the good work.
I will continue to follow this course most definitely .

I have a question about lesson 1: How to deal with 3bets in Preflop if we raised before? I understand, that with PP we use rule20. But what about other preflop raising marginal hands, like AQx, ATx, KQx KJx, QJx etc..?

Hello! enjoying the videos and lessons. Couple questions:

1) Made hand with over pair. . Say for instance we have 99.....flop is 3 6 7. Bet 2/3rd's no problem on flop, villain calls How do we treat our 99 now with the Q on the turn?
2) Lesson states to fold if we are raised on our continuation bets. Does that include min raises (i'm talking non draws)? I assume we stay through the river if the we are min raised on STRONG draws.

thanks!
Ron

-> yes

yeah it applies only to mp2.3 minraises. If there is a limp and minraise you should play only red range and pps for call 20 rule.

-> Made hands – it's top pair even if we do not have top kicker?

yeah even with complete trash you should lead out flop s 1 opponent.

bacyla:

So far we are folding them. But if you are more experienced player you should definitely call some of those hands to protect your opening range vs 3bet. Npt sure when we will go through this topic but you can find more information about it from other coaches videos. Just go to video section and write there 3bet and i am quite sure that u will find what you are looking for.

Moffett:

1) Made hand with over pair. . Say for instance we have 99.....flop is 3 6 7. Bet 2/3rd's no problem on flop, villain calls How do we treat our 99 now with the Q on the turn?

If you follow lesson 2 you should c/f turn since your hand is now trash. Hovewer if you are more experienced player you can c/c and lt him realize his floats from the flop. But i dont know how good your hand reading skills are so if you are beginner who started with this course just c/fold and make it easy for yourself.

2) Lesson states to fold if we are raised on our continuation bets. Does that include min raises (i'm talking non draws)? I assume we stay through the river if the we are min raised on STRONG draws.

yeah it includes minraises when u dont have draw you can just fold. Again more experienced player can call some overpairs or tps, but it requires that u understand board textures and how oponnet range looks like there.

So far we are trying to teach u complete basics so thats why we are taking some unoptimal lines. We will be discussing those more advanced staff in late coachigns.

I have just noticed that you jined pokerstartegy today and this is your first post so definitely welcome here and definitely join next coaching!

Hello,
Thanks for the nice lessons so far. Helps me to start over again. I hope to be able to follow some live coatchings.

I've got a question about the min-raise rule from lesson 1.
So if you're min-reraised you can call all bleu and green hands if opponent has at least 50BB left, but still reraise then with the red hands?
But if he doesn't? Should we fold all green hands? And go all-in with the red ones or so? What about the bleu ones?

Hi Bedoosd. Yeah u are right, we just go AI with our red range in that spot. Hovewer if u are more experienced u can call some of the blue range hand or shove even wider versus shortstackers. Just for complete beginners we are doing it verz basic so far. We will get inti more specific details in later weeks so staz tuned and hope to see u on tomorrows coaching.

Btw tomorrow we will play live play, so if u have any questions so far just prepare them so we can go through them in the coaching, hope to see u all tomorrow!

First of all, thank you soo much for your time with theses classes. I am learning a lot from them!

I have a question, i play on bovoda : all anonymous players. How would you adjust your game plan when you never have any info on players.

Thxs!

Glad u like the course guys!

I have a question, i play on bovoda : all anonymous players. How would you adjust your game plan when you never have any info on players.

Actualy when u dont have info on players u should just stick to some solid strategy since u cannot easily exploit any leaks so following some optimal strategy should work best. U will learn that in this course so i think that u should see some solid results by the end of this course.

U will see me playing some reg tables in near future and i will have no info on players as well so iwill show u what info u can get out of some spots so u can use taht info at least during one session.

Next week we will play nl2sh regular tables instead of zoom to mix it up little bit, hope to see u all guys next monday!
