Hey, I've been playing no limit holdem on and off (very inconsistently) for around 7 years, and since I hit the ripe age of 21, and able to play in the casinos, my passion for poker has been reinvigorated. I have also been playing frequently at some of the US friendly sites over the past months, yet it has dawned on me that I need to take my game to the next level if I truly want to get better. I would consider my knowledge of the game pretty good, but I haven't built a big enough bankroll to move past the micro stakes. I want to delve into the vast amounts of knowledge this site has to offer, and am thinking about getting a silver account, because honestly, I'm past the free beginning stuff they have to offer. If anyone had any recommendations on where I could get started (be that videos or hand analysis or whatever) it would be much appreciated.

Hey glemly,

Welcome to PokerStrategy.com

It would help if we knew what limits and games you like to play, then we would know the best articles, videos and live coachings to recommend.

Also be sure to get yourself added to our Member map. The more US players we get on that map, then more will come.

If you have any questions for us at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

Have fun

Laz

I normally play tournaments around ~$2 stakes at the moment and if I am in a cash game I play 5/10 cent. Everything is No limit holdem. Also, I went ahead and added my name to the members thread. I was a little surprised to only see a handful of US players, even though there are unfortunately no promotions or bonuses for us atm.

As for the limits though, until I can increase my bankroll significantly I will be at these stakes it seems. I try to abide by Chris Ferguson's bankroll management rules.
