888 Poker - $2.70+$0.30|15/30 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: 53.17 BB
MP+1: 49 BB
MP+2: 50 BB
CO: 48.83 BB
BTN: 47.83 BB
Hero (SB): 49 BB
BB: 47.33 BB
UTG: 57.5 BB
UTG+1: 47.33 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♦ 7♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) 5♣ 4♣ 7♥
Hero bets 6 BB, BB raises to 44.33 BB, fold,

The villain have 35% of Early Finishes in the Tournament Shark HUD, but even if he have a FD o SD (Maybe GS) is the call profitable here?

Pre-flop is fine, but your flop Cbet is to big I think. I would bet approximately 4bb on flop.

His shove looks weird for sure. I expect he will have a draw a lot of the time and I would call here with top pair top kicker. It’s also possible he has a weaker 7x hand as well and I expect he will raise a lot smaller with 2 pair or better.

Cheers,

My bet in the flop is to big because the villain have a very loose stats so I think that is the way to obtain value of his draws and also for proteccion of my hand.
I make fold because I am trying to reduce variance, my stack after the fold is still good for search better spots . what do you think about this?
But aslo that the call is fine because as you say in the flop our hand is the better almost always.

Ty for your evaluations.

Sounds like a reasonable approach you take during the hand. It’s indeed a decent gamble spot and I don’t mind you wait for a better spot against most likely loose passive opponent if I read you right here.

Hi,

I think you could make a tight fold here. Why? You bet pot-size here, and on those occasions people are rarely bluffing. If you had bet 2/3 of pot and then he did this, I think you could go with this hand.

However, if you are able to withstand variance, you could call this. Even though it could be marginal in the long run.

Vs the average maybe the fold is fine, but this player was too loose 35% EF ...
