I wonder how many votes would be required for pokerstrategy.com to consider our proposal...

I guess that will depend on the number of people who actually actively use the TAF program. 38 is not bad but maybe that will not be enough for pokerstartegy to consider a change...

Hello guys,

Thank you for your feedback, I have made sure that the people responsible were made aware of your suggestions. Yet as it stands we are currently not planning on making any changes in the TAF system.

Although it is understandable that for TAF referrers it is more attractive to receive money before their referrals reach 5,000 strategy points you need to understand that the entire system of PokerStrategy is based on educating our members to become successful players. There are still plenty of players that reach 1,000 or even 2,500 strategy points by playing outside of BRM and then go broke. The high reward of $75 for 5,000 is set the way it is since most players that make it to 5,000 SP are then actually players that continue on to be successful players - and therefore also profitable for us.

At PokerStrategy.com we invest the main amount of the produced rake into benefits for our members such as content (videos, articles, coachings, news, etc), promotions, freerolls, better offers, and growth through the TAF system. Changes in the TAF system would directly affect our ability to offer the service that we do - so please understand that if and when we do integrate changes, they will come at their own pace and planning.

Best regards,
SoyCD

Hi SoyCD,

I have to agree that you guys actually reinvest a lot of the money you receive from your poker partners and you reinvest it with quality.
The only reason I open up this for discussion is because I and probably others actually do spend some time promoting pokerstrategy and I believe a small change on the payment structure would be an extra incentive and it would benefit both pokerstrategy and those who want to promote pokerstrategy through your TAF promotion.
I was actually contacted by a colleague of yours from Germany and she told me that the marketing department was working on an improved affiliate programme. I hope we can see "something" soon!

Best regards,
Tuk

This happens all the time:

You give away something for free and people aren't happy with it...they want something different or they want more, or they want it faster lol

Just be happy with what you get from PS...

option B btw xD

obviously i voted for b) for selfish reasons, but a) seems to be more logical.

How about this:

15 points - $10
100 points - $15
2500 points - $25
5000 points - $50

I wonder if the english pokerstrategy moderators have enough power to decide on this... Should I post this on the deustch forum? I will do that to see if we get more traction and feedback :)

Great poll!

Why don't you just make the options:

A. Should we get much more than we get now?
B. Should we get more than we get now?
C. Should we get the same as we get now?

Clearly, option B. is better for you than A. and both are better than the status quo.

If you'd been more direct and just asked: "Please give us more money for TaF", then I'd have replied:

"TaF is a kind of affiliate program, and it is quite one of the best around. PokerStrategy.com offers an easy way to get some bucks while offering a good thing to your friends, and if you have a website etc. its a good way to monetize your traffic.
Why so?
1. It is better because its a value for the ones you suggest it to. Its not just trying to get some of your friends to waste their money - you can earn money while they do, too.
2. Because of that, we bear your risk. We give your friend $50. We give you $10 at a point of time where he just played a few hands. We give you another $15 when he did not nearly cover our initial $50 cost. And still, you can earn more once he reaches 5,000 StrategyPoints."

I'm pretty sure that TaF belongs to the best, most transparent and most valuable affiliate programs around. It's fair, it's the same for eveyone. And it indeed is already expensive.

Hi Xantos,

Thanks for the reply. Indeed I should have gone straight to the point and see if and how coud the TAF be improved... specially for people like me who is a believer in pokerstrategy and keep on promoting you as much as possible. I have more than 750 people registered from my [edit by Chiller3k: sorry I had to delete the link due to Rule No. 3: No advertising commercial offers of any sort] and what I would like is to have some kind of additional incentive or reward for my efforts - Who is most valuable for pokerstrategy.com? Someone who invited 3 or 4 friends or someone who get more than 750 registered in 6 months?

Im not sure how you could do that and maybe you are not even interested in doing that but the fact is that your competition is offering their TAF payments and there is already 1 after me to promote them for $200 per referral.

This probably will end up in your junk file but I leave my feedback here anyway in case you need it.

All the best,
Tuk
