Hi,

every poker site has some differences in the rake formula, and moreover the various rake back deals have potentially a relevant effect as well and can vary greatly from site to site and from user to user. During the training a rake structure similar to the PokerStars one has been used (without considering any rake back).

Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team

I believe no rake is taken away in challenge mode? Is this not a big issue as the snowie strat was calculated in a rake environment?

Hi,

First of all, PokerSnowie has been trained with and without rake. Then, it is true that when computing your score during the Challenges, no rake is taken away. But we still felt useful for the user to play in an environment where the rake is considered in the evaluation, and therefore when playing Challenges, getting live advice and looking at the analysis of the hands you played, the rake is considered.

Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team

Hi,

in principle, in SNGs where the winner takes all, PokerSnowie is useful. The only known issue we have is where it comes to HU with very shallow stacks (which in SNG happens almost always): in this case PokerSnowie's evaluations are generally good, but it could make occasionally some mistakes. We are working on fixing and improving this area.

Thanks,
The PokerSnowie Team

I'm sure this Q has been asked before but i'm having trouble importing HH's into poker snowie. Ive tried from PT4 no luck, from PS HH audit no luck. I dont want to stop sending to PT4 as it enables my HUD, so any help on formatting would be much appreciated. thanks

Hey, does Pokersnowie support betfair (ipoker) hand histories? I'm on 30 day trial and when I try to upload around 30k hand sample into software - nothing happens. I'm sure I'm using the right folder.

EDIT: solved

Hi,

Maybe a stupid question, but what is the function of "Scenario evaluations"? I have already used free trial, so I can not to use Snowie to check that function. I am considering to use Snowie for one month.

EDIT: solved. I have found the function of Scenario evaluations.

Hello pokersnowie,

I would like to ask you a question. What is your honest opinion about Snowie's ability on playing 25 BB like in HUSNG Hypers? I've read somewhere that Snowie does not have a big experience in playing short stacked. On the other hand short stack (25 BB) HU seems to be more mathematical, so GTO solution should be more important. Also, in short stack there is less creativity so there is less experience needed. In theory at least. I dont know how it would be in practice. Thats why I would like to hear your comment or the comment from the other user.

Regards,

edit:
would be nice if you had an option in challenge mode to hide the challenge mode to hide real time evaluation until you hover with the mouse cursor.

Hi,

can PokerSnowie load my opponents` stats for example from HM2 to analyze my actions? For example, if I try to analyze a hand versus VPIP 65/ PFR 35 fish where I shoved QQ on 238r flop and opponent had 33, PokerSnowie shows a mistake by me, as if I had to fold to his raise.

Snowie is an amazing software, has a great potential, but unfortunately the producers, the marketing people and those responsible for the user interface are a real disaster :f_frown:

I want to do justice to Snowie support team. I have got a reply on my email. It was reply from Johannes, the Snowie co-founder, this is maybe why it took longer.

Regards to all,

Hi,

I have a question about a specific hand where pokersnowie's analysis doesn't seem to make sense.

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $2.29 (114.5 bb)
BB: $2.28 (114 bb)
UTG: $2 (100 bb)
MP: $2.03 (101.5 bb)
CO: $1.87 (93.5 bb)
BTN: $2.21 (110.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 T
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, BB calls $0.04

Flop: ($0.12) 2 5 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.08, BB calls $0.08

Turn: ($0.28) T (2 players)
Hero bets $0.18, BB calls $0.18

River: ($0.64) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.30, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$0.64 pot ($0.02 rake)
Final Board: 2 5 8 T Q
Hero mucked 9 T and lost (-$0.32 net)
BB mucked and won $0.62 ($0.30 net)

Basically, pokersnowie says in the hand breakdown and advice feature that the opponent always has the nuts and we always have worse hands, but that we should always call with our worse hands. It pretty much makes no sense because it's the river so there's no more cards to consider.

Could someone who has pokersnowie try to explain what's going on here because I can't understand it.

Thanks
