First of all I recommend to remove the outcome of the hand next time or put in a spoiler.
Than we can’t be result orientated anyway :f_wink:
Congratulations on the deep run in this tournament :f_thumbsup:

I have first checked the prize structure of this tournament:

I would gamble with the 33 against this aggressive CO player with 33 as short stack.
It’s not to likely you can ladder up without playing a hand in a spot like this.

Nash ranges:

Based on the Nash ranges I don’t change my mind, because I don’t think the CO will raise tighter than 44.9%, 33+ Ax+ K4s+ K4o+ Q7s+ Q5s Q7o+ Q5o J7s+ J7o+ T9s T8o+ based on his aggressive stats on a low sample.

Cheers,

I agree with what your saying, my initial thought was Im definitely ahead of his raising range at that spot. But I prob should have take into consideration him being t he biggest stack( didnt play with him much though),those 13 hands was at last 2 tables so him being aggro as big stack is normal i guess. It only cost him 20% of his stack to call , he being top stack might even call off with A8,QJo+ . And obv with me having 33 , best is im flipping all the time.

The reason I bring this up as 2 weeks ago I came 2nd in hot 5.50 when I had 1 bb with 7 to go after losing AK<A10. I end up coming 2nd as people were making many mistakes even at FT. Being a lil result orientated, I was thinking If I could fold that and still have 1 orbit of hands to go through for a better spot. DOnt get me wrong, I will def be loving life shoving that First In. But 12bb is still playable lol in non turbo, top heavy tourney

Imo, big stack will call way too often in dis spot, i prefer to fold and shove AT, QT, JT etc.. instead!

seems like w 30k up top its definitely worth it to gambol, vs initial smallish pay jumps.

13bb is barely playable (in relation to actually winning), 27bb vs fishy table and you have a good shot at winning the thing, with a top heavy payout structure and a much bigger edge with deeper stack I think this shove is correct.

SDK1987:
Thanks for a charts from HRC, but I thin we need to customize some range of 3betting, calling your 3bets, players behind us etc.

lokiah:
Ok. So you are 12 BB eff. You are the smallest stack at the table. IMO PP are great hands here.
1. you are slightly + vs 2 over cards 52%
2. When you have bigger fold equity? Now or if you are 10 or 9 BB?
3. You don't take ICM for consideration, because you are smallest stack at the table
4. If we know from cards distribution: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,T,J,Q,K,A. In you r opinion which combination hands we will get frequent ?
I think there is no time for waiting for hands such a KQ. Mostly we will get hands like J7 or so.
5. Without antes I might think for missing this spots. But we know this player will keep pressure for others payers and he will open a lot of hands, he will fold a lot hands as well IMO
