ok been at this table for a while been raising quite a bit so when this guy 3bet me i was expecting him to be a bit wide although he had a 3bet of just 6% so i called IP to keep his worse hands in as i dont expect a 4bet to get any value from worse. He was 25/19/6

PokerStars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: http://www.pokertracker.com

BB: 100 BB
UTG: 100 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 11.43, 3Bet Preflop: 5.56, Hands: 35)
CO: 105 BB (VPIP: 15.79, PFR: 10.53, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 38)
Hero (BTN): 220 BB
SB: 120 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 19.44, 3Bet Preflop: 7.14, Hands: 38)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Ac Kc
fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB raises to 9 BB, fold, Hero calls 6 BB

Flop : (19 BB, 2 players) 8s Js Qc
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn : (19 BB, 2 players) 7d
SB checks, Hero bets 11.5 BB, SB calls 11.5 BB

River : (42 BB, 2 players) Qh
SB checks, Hero checks

SB shows Jc 9c (Two Pair, Queens and Jacks)
(Pre 34%, Flop 61%, Turn 77%)

Hero mucks Ac Kc (One Pair, Queens)
(Pre 66%, Flop 39%, Turn 23%)

SB wins 40.5 BB

ok on the QJ8 board with a FD out there when he chks i kinda discount monsters from his range since he would have bet those huge there unless he was going for a chk raise

so i put him on a marginal to drawing hand/air but for some reason i chk bk maybe becuz of how much equity i had in the hand on that flop
Im thinking that i should hv bet flop and any dry turn rather large
i could fold out Jx and 8x which are ahead
On the river Q i see no reason to bet as if he called a J or 8 a Q on river doesnt change much for him and is still calling and my AK beats all pure draws

want to know if u guys agree with me here and this this line better or what u guys think would be best

I think we can bet this flop because he would probably cbet his strong hands on this flop + we have a gutshot, BDFD and two owers, so we are semi-bluffing. He might fold some pocket pairs and check/call something like AJ or KJ, which he will fold to 2nd barrel. He looks capped on the flop, so I like to fire 2 barrels there expecting it to be profitable.

missed 4bet/get it in, your reasoning against that is wrong, study 3/bet defence 4bet ranges from different positions and construct a balanced value heavy ones(not neccessary on Nl2). Easiest 4bet ever.

Agree with the 4bet/call. This will give you initiative and is good to play for stacks if villain pushes.
