SB: $21.25 (106.3 bb)
Hero (BB): $31.01 (155.1 bb)
CO: $20 (100 bb)
BTN: $7.80 (39 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K J
2 folds, SB raises to $0.50, Hero calls $0.30

Flop: ($1) Q 6 A (2 players)
SB bets $0.60, Hero raises to $1.80, SB calls $1.20

Turn: ($4.60) 6 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB calls $3

River: ($10.60) 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.80, SB calls $5.80

Preflop: My standard call BB vs SB.

Flop: I hit a gutshot and BDFD, so decided that it's a good spot for raising. I expect him to fold all pairs and plan to barrel later streets in case he calls. When he calls, I think he is capped to TP and/or a flushdraw, because I expect him to 3bet sets and probably two pairs.

Turn: As planned on the flop, I fired the turn. As I see now, the paired card is not the greatest one because I may expect more calls from Ax, since he would think that we will split in case I don't have AK or two pairs.

River: Decided to fire the river, too, to fold out Ax. Not sure about the sizing, but I believe something like 1/2 is standard, making it look as a value bet.

SB: 37/27/80/2,4/71 (VPIP/PFR/FlopCB/AF/H)

I have a question on your flop thoughts. What pairs cbet on AQx board and fold? Why do you plan to continue betting after he call your raise on Axx board?

Sometimes all pocket pairs cbet A-high boards as a bluff and my hand is still behind any of those. Also, Qx is sometimes cbetting and Ax is always cbetting, but can probably be folded out by the river.

As I wrote in the opening post, when he calls, I think he is capped to TP and/or a flushdraw, because I expect him to 3bet sets and probably two pairs. So, my plan is continue betting to fold out Ax. Probably the turn card is not the greatest, as I said, because he would be inclined to call someting like A2, since we could be splitting in his eyes.

What would you represent? 66 and AQ?

+1 with nitrol

IMO your hand is strong enough to call the flop especially so with the BDFD and from a balance point of view we could be getting too bluff heavy if we raise this

This board is better for his range than ours because we 3bet most trips & two pair combos pre and a better player could start to play back when we raise here

We should raise even more polorized and take weakers hand like JTs spades or 78 / 45 spades with undercards and backdoors and keep the strongest gutshots & BD in calling range

A6, AQ, 66 and AA, QQ occasionally. Actually, as I see it, doesn't matter in this case what I represent because, as I wrote in the openning post, I'm playing against his range, which is capped and which I don't expect to stand 2 barrels. I strongly believe that sets and two pairs are 3betting the flop, so I would almost completelly rule out those from his range.

In the excact hand, he had A7o, as I suspected on the flop. I was surprised that he called even the flop with it and not to mention the turn and river, but supose I run into a calling station because I don't think that he is capable of reading my range and bluffcatching all the way.

Might be true, but atm I'm not raising flops often enough, so when I'm between calling and raising, I decide to raise, as adviced from the coach. I suspect this line to be more profitable anyway, since the majority of players would cbet Axx flops almost always, so I expect him to fold the majority of hands right on the flop.

The problem here is that when you raise flop and he calls, he almost always has Ax. ANd as you saw yourself they do not like to fold it that easy. :)

I agree that they don't fold it that easy, but I expect an average NL20 reg to fold it by the river. I guess I run into the wrong guy. :)

If u ever get a nl20 player (or anyone at all really) to fold top pair to that river bet in this spot i will personaly fly to whatever part of the world u are and suck ur dick.

Also call flop, u dont rep AQ and lol u do not "rep AA and QQ sometimes". Still raising is not terrible but id rather call here. Everything that folds to that raise c/f the turn anyways.
As played on that turn just give it up, its not just "not the greatest card", its the absolute worst.

Lol, now tell us that you are a beautiful blond girl... and he should start bluffing every hand. :)

imo A6, 66 with the turn card coming. AA and QQ most of the times will be more aggressive pre-flop, not always but most of it.

I also try to say something.
Flop: As for me we can play both lines here - raise or call. As for me raise here will be much more pretty.
- we have bdfd + gtsht
- we can check on turn on bad card

Also after raise we through it out some % of pockets and trsh. When we call for example this trash can blufs on turn after what we must fold our hand. If we have some equity to have more strong hand - we must take it because on turn can come some card that turn our equity in another turn.
On turn as for me we must check if we want raise on Flop.

As you played - sizing is not so scary as for me. If I want to through out some Ax ( that very hard after your agression on Flop and Turn - I will betting more sizing I think.
